The more tooth stain you have, the stronger and longer a product you will require.

Crest Whitestrips Supreme
Made from the original single layer technology Crest Whitestrips Supreme (14% strength) remain the strongest whitening strip in the range. With longer upper and lower strips they are 80% stronger than other retail brands and you get a full 21 days of home teeth whitening treatment.

Our Opinion: Still the best Whitestrip for heavy tooth discolouration, dark, brown, dirty yellow teeth stains. Supreme will remove these stains and provide whiter teeth. At £56.00 its the most expensive in the range and should not be used by people who suffer from tooth sensitivity. An excellent product worthy of 5 stars.

Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional Effects
The new non slip technology first seen in Advanced Seal, has now gone on to revolutionise the Whitestrips range, although its not available in every product just yet. Fortunately it is included in Professional Effects which provides you with 20 days of 10% teeth whitening treatment. Ideal, like Supreme for heavy internal and external tooth stains

Our Opinion: Close to becoming the flagship of the range, Professional Effects are perfect for brown, yellow tooth stains. 20 days of whitening is more than enough to provide whiter teeth for most people. The non slip technology is something special and really works. At £46.99 these are excellent value for money. Soon to be the best Whitestrip!

Crest 3D Whitestrips Advanced Vivid
Again benefitting from the non slip technology the two main differences in comparison with Professional Effects are the slightly smaller lower strip for people with narrower front teeth and 14 days of whitening treatment rather than 20. They are the same 10% strength.

Our Opinion: Perhaps those with darker tooth stains should stick with Professional Effects or Supreme as you get the extra weeks worth of teeth whitening. However for those with normal dark yellow, yellow tooth stains these are brilliant. Don’t worry too much about the lower strips being narrower they will cover most of the bottom set. Best Value at £42.99

Crest 3D Whitestrips Vivid
The original ‘Classic’ rebadged and lengthened. Made from the original single layer technology Vivid at 6.5% strength are the best option for people with mild yellow tooth stain. You get 10 days of home teeth whitening 

Our Opinion: For people with just a little tooth discolouration then Vivid will be fine, 10 days is long enough to lighten by several shades. They are not ideal for people with ‘dull teeth’ as these are often the hardest to whiten, and Supreme would be the preferred choice. These are the cheapest of the ‘professional level’ whitening products £34.99.

Crest 3D Whitestrips Gentle Routine
Staying with single layer of tooth whitening strip Gentle Routine are the first product in the range specifically for those with sensitive teeth. The treatment time is reduced to just 5 minutes a day however you get 28 strips so the total whitening treatment is longer and however it is a more gradual process.

Our Opinion: Long overdue, Crest Whitestrips Gentle Routine are a great addition to the range. Sensible whitening for those with sensitivity issues, don’t worry about the whitening Gentle Routine work just the same, it just takes slightly longer. £36.99. Recommended for those with sensitivity issues, I also recommend the use of a sensitive toothpaste to give you total protection. You don't need the non slip strips as the whitening period is only 5 minutes at a time

Crest 3D Whitetrips Stain Shield
Staying with the 5 minute whitening treatment time, Stain Shield are a really good concept and addition to the range. These single layer strips offer a daily protection against further tooth stains. You get a months worth of teeth whitening and they can be used, daily, every other day, weekly or whatever suits your lifestyle.
Our Opinion: Once you have whitened your teeth with one of the ‘professional level’ Crest Whitestrips such as Professional Effects, Supreme, Advanced Vivid or Vivid then Stain Shield must become your oral care partner. Used with Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Toothpaste you really can’t find a better way to fight tooth stains. Again £37.99 for 4 weeks supply of teeth whitening offer’s tremendous value for money. You don't need the non slip strips as the whitening period is only 5 minutes at a time
